This session will outline possible curricular models for inclusion of generative AI technological competence.  It will also outline innovative ways to incorporate AI throughout the curriculum in law schools, including legal writing, legal research, and doctrinal courses.  Good lawyerly hygiene in the AI digital age will require heightened proficiency and creativity when grappling with new generative AI decisions in a variety of settings and vigilance when pioneering changes in the law in IP law, international law, criminal law, evidence law, civil procedure, and other landscapes that require new vision for legal rules.  Our current law students will need the vital skills of technological adeptness and IT knowledge (including AI), complex research and discernment of information retrieval, and communication with humans as well as AI interfacing and prompt engineering to success in future practice.
